Prepare for College Math at WNCC

Western Nevada Community College offers another opportunity to prepare for college-level mathematics this fall. Intermediate Algebra (MATH 096, call #35537, Sec. C04) is a prerequisite for MATH 120, Fundamentals of College Mathematics, a university transfer class that fulfills the math requirement for many degrees. Beginning in January, MATH 120 will have mandatory testing as a prerequisite, so this is an opportunity to fulfill the prerequisite without testing. Mike Anderson teaches the class Mondays and Wednesdays, Oct.18 to Dec. 15, from 7-9:45 p.m.
