WNCC Presenting Nevada Now Art Exhibit

Nov 24 Western Nevada Community College is hosting the touring art exhibit "Nevada Now: The Visual Artists Fellowship Award exhibition" in the College Gallery from Monday, Dec. 6, through Friday, Jan. 21. There is an artists' reception in the gallery on Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The gallery is in the Bristlecone Building at the Carson City campus, 2201 West College Parkway.

"Nevada Now" is an exhibition of work by 15 artists who participated in the Nevada Arts Council fellowship program from 1988 through 2003. They were selected to represent geographical diversity, as well as diversity in media, style and subject matter. Works include photographs, sculptures and paintings.
