Astronomy Class for Science Teachers Starting at WNCC

"Astronomy for Teachers," a course for science teachers of grades 6-12, is being offered this summer at the Jack C. Davis Observatory at Western Nevada Community College in Carson City. The field experience class is June 20-25, with pre-sessions on April 16 and May 21. Teachers taking the class earn three graduate credits through the University of Nevada, Reno, College of Extended Studies. Grants are available for reimbursement for some expenses.
