WNCC Showing Short Films by Notable Directors

Western Nevada Community College's Lone Mountain Writers and the Tahoe/Reno International Film Festival are screening eight short films that launched the careers of their directors on Friday, May 20, at 7:30 p.m. in WNCC's Marlette Hall, 2201 West College Parkway, in Carson City. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at www.t-riff.org or at 775-298-0018.

Film and television producer Frederick Levy will present thought-provoking commentary on how these films landed their directors three-picture Hollywood contracts.
