Emergency medical services personnel who are interested in becoming EMT instructors can learn the skills they need this fall in a weekend class at Western Nevada Community College. The course meets or exceeds U.S. Department of Transportation requirements for state certification as an EMS instructor for the level of the provider's certification.

All students must have a current EMS certification and a current health care provider CPR certification. A minimum of one-year ambulance experience is also recommended. The course meets at WNCC Carson City in Cedar Building Rm. 313. Cost is $164.25. Call 445-3294 for information.
