WNCC Rodeo Team Members Finish Strong

Two Western Nevada Community College Rodeo Team members gave strong performances in recent competition. Amy Rodarte of Fallon finished third in breakaway in an October 1-2 intercollegiate rodeo at Feather River College in Quincy, Calif. She was first in the go round and fourth in the short go round.

Chelsee Tuni excelled in non-college competition at an All-Indian Rodeo last week in Banning, Calif. Tuni, 19, and her horse, Eagle, won the barrel racing competition on September 24 and was the runner-up in competition on September 25. She earned a buckle and $1,082 in prize money.
