Autumn Art Exhibit Features Nevada

Autumn's bold colors will come to life on canvas and in words in an exhibition by Norma Carder at Western Nevada Community College, October 27-November 22. Carder will show her watercolor and oil paintings at WNCC's Bristlecone Gallery on the Carson City campus, 2201 West College Parkway. A reception for the artist is Thursday, Oct. 27, 4:30-6 p.m.

The autumn theme includes a selection of works done around Lake Tahoe and the Carson City area. Accompanying the artworks will be a selection of American poems related to the theme.

Carder is a longtime resident of North Lake Tahoe and an instructor of art at WNCC, teaching classes in watercolor painting and design.
