WNCC Art Students Selling Original Ceramics

Art students at Western Nevada Community College will be selling their original ceramics to raise funds for art department equipment, and provide another option for holiday gift giving. The sale will be Wednesday, Dec. 7, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., at the College Gallery in the Bristlecone Building. Colorful bowls, pitchers, platters and pots are among the pieces students have donated, and the artists will be on hand to meet their customers and collect payment.

Art Instructor Sharon Tetly said she1s pleased with the quality of the works being sold. "They're very nice, functional pieces that should be affordable and make great gifts," she said.
