Two rodeo team members from Western Nevada Community College placed in several events in a rodeo last weekend at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Calif.

Chelsee Tuni led Western in the women’s events, finishing fourth in the long go, fifth in the short go, and fifth in average. Charles “C.J.” Pease was Western’s highlight in the men’s group, finishing ninth in the long go, fourth in the short go, fourth in average, and fifth in team roping.

Next stop for the rodeo team is California State University in Fresno, Calif., on May 6-7, and then the University of Nevada Las Vegas on May 12-13.
