The women's soccer team (3-2-2) dominated their game Saturday in a 5-0 victory over Colorado Mountain College at the Edmonds Sports Complex. WNCC had 55 total shots compared to one for Colorado, and most of the game was played on WNCC's side of the field.
Douglas High School graduates Jessica Maule and Christina Bradshaw led the charge for the Wildcats as they scored two goals each. Another Douglas High grad, Meghan Olsen, scored the other goal, and Dominique Gloude, from Silverado High School in Las Vegas, added two assists. The team had several shots bounce off the crossbars in the contest.
The Wildcats will not have much time to rest as they head out for a three-game road trip starting Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. against Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif.
Western will follow that contest up with a visit to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, to face North Idaho College on Friday at 4 p.m. and Northwest Christian College on Saturday at 10 a.m. WNCC will return home on September 29 and 30.
