WNCC Douglas Campus Closed Due to Water Main Break

Due to a water main break, the Western Nevada Community College Douglas campus is closed and all of Thursday’s evening classes have been canceled. College officials anticipate that the problem will be fixed Thursday night and the campus will re-open Friday for classes.

Workers suspect that the leak is coming from a water line in front of the main building. There is no flooding in the building at this time, and a crew is currently trying the fix the leak.

Students are encouraged to check www.wncc.edu to confirm that the campus is open. All other WNCC locations remain open.
