See "What's Black and White and Red All Over" at WNCC
“What’s Black and White and Red All Over,” a collection of paintings from Western Nevada Community College student Kyrra Watson, will hang in WNCC Fallon’s Getto Hall Gallery Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13. This exhibit is part of the college’s student portfolio shows that will appear in the gallery this month.
“One hundred years from now, I do not wish that I be called a great artist; nor do I wish for the rich to spend thousands on my art,” Watson said. “Art is the creation of the artist’s thoughts and emotions – you cannot buy emotions. All I wish for my art is that it inspires others to create for themselves. Art exists to enrich the soul.”
A reception for the artist will take place in the gallery on Monday, April 9, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
