College to Kick Off Scholarship Drive at Chamber Mixer

Western Nevada Community College has partnered with the Yerington Chamber of Commerce to announce a scholarship drive for Yerington high school students at a Chamber of Commerce meeting on Thursday, June 21, 5-7 p.m. The Chamber Mixer and Scholarship Fund Raising Kickoff Party will take place at the WNCC Yerington campus, 140 N. Main St. Refreshments, a raffle and tours of the facilities will be available.

“We are very happy to have this special opportunity to partner with the Chamber of Commerce members,” said WNCC Yerington Coordinator Roberta Burkart. “I know that many of them are interested in our college and the educational opportunities for Yerington high school students and adults.”
