Western Nevada Welcomes New Retention Coordinator
George McNulty has joined Western Nevada College as the new coordinator of retention/counselor. McNulty will help develop retention strategies at the college, and help students make important decisions regarding their educational goals and career.
“I’m excited to be at WNC and look forward to working with students to help them achieve their goals,” he said. “I bring an overall belief of the extreme importance of education in our society, and I think that attitude will help support the college’s mission and goals.”
McNulty has a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Chico State University, a master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Nevada, Reno and is currently working on a doctorate in Educational Leadership at UNR.
He comes to Western from Truckee Meadows Community College, where he was an academic advisor.
