Boedenauer Joins WNC Admissions & Records Department
After serving as a part-time teaching assistant at Western Nevada College for the past five years, Cat Boedenauer has been named a computer programmer/analyst in the Office of Admissions & Records.
“I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else,” Boedenauer said. “My new position is fun and I’m really excited about it. I love WNC.”
In her new role, Boedenauer will be encoding the college’s degree audit reporting system and working on web applications. In her previous position, she designed online Spanish courses, created and maintained Web pages, and did research for faculty.
Boedenauer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Nevada and is working on her Master’s of Education degree in Educational Technology at the University of Missouri, Columbia. She is also a freelance web designer, a German-English translator, and a member of the Lone Mountain Writers Group.
