College Marketing Efforts Earn Regional Recognition
Western Nevada College has been recognized in a regional competition for its marketing efforts. The awards came at the 2007 National Council for Marketing & Public Relations southwestern region conference in Reno.
The college earned Medallion Awards in the following categories: a gold for the college's online services, a silver for best electronic class schedule/catalog, a silver for the college's video series, and a bronze for the annual report to the community. WNC competed against dozens of colleges from Nevada, California, Arizona, Utah, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands.
