Students to Host Open Mic Night

Don’t miss Western Nevada College’s Open Mic Night on Thursday, Nov. 15, 7:30 p.m., at the Dini Student Center. All ages are welcome to this event that is sponsored by the Associated Students of Western Nevada.

“We are looking for students and residents from the community to perform at our show,” said Juan Garcia, WNC student and event organizer. “We are open to just about everything including poetry, music and comedy routines.”

Attendees will enjoy free food, fun, and entertainment provided by the contestants. A microphone will be provided, but participants must bring their own props, musical instruments, and whatever else they’ll need to aid their performance.
