WNMTC to Open “Annie Get Your Gun”

"Anything you can do, I can do better!" Or, at least, Irving Berlin can. The famous lyric from Berlin's "Annie Get Your Gun" aptly describes the blockbuster musical of more than 50 years, with one successful revival after another brought to the Great White Way. Now the Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company offers the latest revival version of this Broadway favorite at the Carson City Community Center in seven performances, February 8-17.

The story of sharpshooter Annie Oakley falling in love with her rival, Frank Butler, is animated with non-stop hits: Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better; I Got the Sun in the Morning; They Say It’s Wonderful; There’s No Business Like Show Business; and more.
Stephanie Arrigotti produces and directs, and Gina Kaskie-Davis choreographs.

The show will run Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m., along with a matinee on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. Tickets: $18 for general admission, $16 for students and seniors, and $14 for youth 17 and under.
