"Latinos in Nevada" Lecture Highlights Changing Society

Western Nevada College presents "A Changing Society, Latinos in Nevada" by Daniel Enrique Perez on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. at the Carson City campus, Marlette Hall. Admission is free.
Perez is an assistant professor of Chicano and Latino Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno, and coordinator of the Latino Research Center at the university. He serves on the UNR Ethnic Studies Board and the UNR Consortium of Race, Gender and Identity Studies. His current research focuses on the intersections of race, ethnicity and gender.
