WNC Honor Society Offering Free Documentary Film

Western Nevada College's Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is offering a free documentary film about Shirley Chisholm on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 6-8 p.m., in Marlette Hall. "Chisholm '72 - Unbought & Unbossed," profiles the Brooklyn, N.Y., native who became the first African American woman elected to Congress, and a pioneer who helped knock down color and gender barriers when she campaigned for president in 1972. The public is invited.

Marlette Hall is located in the Cedar Building at the Carson City campus, 2201 W. College Pkwy.
