Students Bring in Adrian Xavier Friday, March 28.
Whatever type of music you prefer, you just may hear it by attending Adrian Xavier's performance on Friday, March 28. The Associated Students of Western Nevada College is bringing the singer to the Warehouse on Highway 50 East in Carson City.
Fans say Xavier's music has elements of reggae, world beat, folk, soul, jazz, rock and hip-hop, all infused with a warm island feeling that makes audiences think of a tropical vacation. He is well-known in Washington and Oregon as a founding member of the band "Pure Water" which performed at a number of festivals and events in the Pacific Northwest. His performances reveal him to be an intrepid traveler in both the musical and geographic sense.
Cost for the 7 p.m. show is $10, or $5 with a WNC student ID. The Warehouse is located at 3579 Highway 50 East. For more information contact ASWN at 445-3323.
