Free Movie to be Followed by Discussion

"Inconvenient Truth" Film to Show April 22.

Western Nevada College's new Sustainable Living Group has chosen Earth Day to offer a free film about global warming. "An Inconvenient Truth" will be shown on Tuesday, April 22, at Marlette Hall in the Cedar Building, on the Carson City campus. The film will be screened twice, at 12:15 p.m. and 7 p.m., followed with discussions moderated by faculty members.

Students, faculty and the general public are invited to see the Academy Award winning film that is narrated by former Vice President Al Gore and directed by Davis Guggenheim. The movie has generated international interest and comment since its premier at the Sundance Film Festival in 2006. For more information contact Professor Ed Kingham at 445-4299.
