Enjoy a Heavenly View Saturday

"Telescopes Around Town" Starts at Dusk.

The stars will be out Saturday in Carson City, Dayton and Douglas County. Or at least they'll be more easily viewed by the public.

In honor of "Astronomy Day," the Western Nevada Astronomical Society and Western Nevada College will station telescopes around the area for public viewing of the evening sky, beginning just after dusk. The show will "star" Saturn, Mars and other celestial wonders, at four area locations:

1. Save Mart parking lot in Carson City
2. Telegraph Square in downtown Carson City
3. Outside Borders Bookstore near Topsy Lane in Douglas County
4. Outside the Daytona Casino in Dayton

Drop by at dusk and enjoy the heavenly view!
