Adult Student Registration Events Set

Western Nevada College invites adult students and any returning college students to participate in a "Path to Success" event being offered in six different rural communities of western Nevada prior to the start of fall classes on Monday, Aug. 25.

"Path to Success" events will be from 4-7 p.m. at the following WNC teaching centers:
Tuesday, Aug. 5 - Hawthorne
Wednesday, Aug. 6 - Fernley
Thursday, Aug. 7 - Smith Valley
Tuesday, Aug. 12 - Yerington
Wednesday, Aug. 13 - Fallon
Thursday, Aug. 14 - Lovelock

WNC counselors and outreach faculty will help adult students explore career paths and choose classes that fit their schedules. Students will also find out about financial assistance options and placement testing scheduling.

More than 1,000 classes are being offered for the fall term, both on campus and online. Registration for fall classes is available online at www.wnc.edu.
