Wildcats Fall to Riverside Community College

Western Nevada College's Wildcats baseball team will be concentrating on fundamentals and avoiding the errors that have plagued the team during its first games of the season.

Western lost to Riverside Community College 9-3 Wednesday, in part due to six errors. Freshmen Jordan Lewis and David Carroll pitched for the Wildcats, with Lewis taking the loss. Sophomore Lance Ray was the bright spot for the 'cats, contributing three of WNC's six hits. Also getting hits were Dan Zylstar, Travis Feiner and Cory Raymond.

Western continues the series Thursday and Friday at Riverside. The team plays closer to home next weekend with games in the Sacramento area against American River College, Cosumnes River College and Sierra College.
