Softball Team Falters Friday
Western Nevada College softball team fell to nationally ranked College of Southern Idaho 9-0 Friday afternoon in the first of a four-game series at Centennial Park. First baseman Ambar Huish moved to the pitcher's mound after starting pitcher Alyson Herman was injured in last weekend's effort.
Scenic West Athletic Conference tournament play begins Wednesday, May 6, probably at Salt Lake Community College, which has a commanding lead in the regular season standings with 36 wins against three losses.
