WNC Faces CSN at Noon, Saturday
Wildcats Advance to Championship Match-Up

Undoubtedly, Wildcats fans held their breaths after WNC failed to stop Salt Lake in its first game of the Region XVIII Tournament. The loss forced WNC to battle it out against the College of Southern Idaho before taking on Salt Lake again in tournament play yesterday.
Western answered the call, edging both teams out by one run. The Wildcats topped CSI 3-2 and stopped Salt Lake 4-3.
The Wildcats now face top-ranked College of Southern Nevada for the Scenic West title Saturday, May 15 at noon on CSN's home turf. A win by the Wildcats forces a second contest to earn the title.
