Season Begins in January
Wildcats Getting Ready for Action
Wildcats Get Ready for Action
The Wildcats softball teams is preparing for the 2012 season, and that means it’s time to get Wildcat spirit! The team begins play in late January, but they are already seen working out on campus and on the field.
WNC is a Division 1 member of the National Junior College Athletics Association and competes in one of the most challenging leagues in the nation. Teams come to Carson City from Utah, Idaho, Colorado and southern Nevada, and WNC’s baseball team has been nationally ranked for several years in a row! Time to cheer on the Wildcats!
Anyone who is looking for a fun activity on Friday and Saturday afternoons is invited to come out for Wildcats softball home games, played at Edmonds Field No. 1 in south Carson City. WNC students, faculty and staff are admitted free with a current WNC ID. Tickets are available at the door, along with season passes. Information: 445-4221.
