WNC Shuts Out CSI to Open Series

The Western Nevada College baseball team made quick work of the opener in a four-game series against College of Southern Idaho Friday afternoon. The Wildcats shut out the Golden Eagles 10-0 in just five innings on the mercy rule.

Andrew Woeck pitched the distance, allowing only one hit.
WNC lit up the bats with 13 hits, including six runs in the third inning.

Friday's second game continues this afternoon, and games continue Saturday at noon and 2 p.m., at John L. Harvey Field, WNC Carson City.
