Exemplary work by photography classes at Western Nevada College will be on display beginning this week in the Atrium Gallery. The exhibition begins Monday, Feb. 11, and continues through Friday, March 22, at the Carson City campus. A public reception for the artists is 5-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the College Gallery in Bristlecone Building.

The exhibit features photographs from students in long-time instructor Don Edgington’s beginning darkroom photography class, Graphic Communications Professor Jayna Conkey’s beginning digital photography classes, and Dr. Hal Starratt’s digital color photography class.

Student contributors include Lynette Carlson, with outdoor photographs “Starburst” and “Shades of Summer,” and Ty O’Neil’s “VC at Midnight,” and “The Seasons End.”
