Link, Neverett Make Donations to WNC

A video woodworking instructional series and a couple pieces of art are generous donations made by community members to Western Nevada College early this summer.
Donald Link of Carson City has contributed a 23-tape Woodworking Projects Video Series to Dini Library.
The $900 collection of tapes includes instructional video on Building Outdoor Structures; Wood Repair & Refinishing; Projects for Home and Shop; Trim Carpentry; Rough Carpentry; Furniture Joinery; Plumbing Techniques: Cutting and Joining; Chests, Cabinets & Boxes; Cabinet-making Techniques; Designing & Building Hardscapes; Router Techniques; Cabinets That Store & Stack; Clamping & Gluing; Electrical Wiring; Projects That Project & Display; Table Saw Jigs; Scroll Saw Techniques; Advanced Router Techniques; Band Saw Techniques; House Landscaping Techniques; Building Outdoor Furniture; Woodworking and Toll Techniques; and Case Joinery.
Dan Neverett of Carson City has donated a 32-inch by 26-inch 1998 Corn Hill Festival poster, which is framed and matted blue and signed by the artist.
Neverett also has donated a 1993 Corn Hill Festival poster with the same specifications and dimensions, and has been signed and numbered by the artist.
The two pieces of art are valued at $300.
“Through donations from people in the communities we serve, our efforts to provide quality education are strengthened,” said WNC President Carol Lucey. “Their support of Western Nevada College and its students is greatly appreciated.”
