Extended Hours, Books in Stock, WNC Gear
As WNC’s two campus bookstores gear up for the fall semester, they are also offering some useful tips. Students can avoid the rush by purchasing textbooks, supplies and clothing at the Carson City and Fallon bookstores well before classes start on Monday, Aug. 26.
Both bookstores will be open at least four days per week starting on Aug. 5. Normal business hours for the Carson City store are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with reduced operating hours on Fridays. Regular hours for the Fallon bookstore are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Both bookstores will have expanded operating hours on the first week of classes. The Fallon bookstore will open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on August 26 and 27 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on August 28 and 29, while the Carson City store will remain open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 26 and 27 and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on August 28 and 29.
WNC’s Carson City bookstore also has announced that it will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, to accommodate students before classes begin.
The Carson City store’s schedule will vary from week to week in August. The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. August 12-15, 23, and 30, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. August 5 and 19-22. Reduced hours of operation (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) are scheduled for August 1, 6-8 and 16.
