The Celestron C14 features a 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain Optical Tube Assembly, Aluminum Optical Tube. Its 2" mirror diagonal provides more comfortable viewing position when observing objects that are high in the sky.This Celestron telescope has "eye piece" capability, therefore observatory visitors can view planets and an unlimited number of deep space objects when sky conditions are favorable. There is also a second Celstron 8" telescope piggybacked on the C14 to accomodate an SBIG spectrogragh.
