Emailing Assignments with
Attachments

OK, so you think you're done with an assignment and
you want to send it in. This isn't really as complicated as it sounds.

For Netscape users:

After creating the message, click the "Attach" button on
the toolbar at the top of the Composition window.

Select "File", and use standard techniques to navigate to
the folder where the Wordpad file for Tutorial #1 lives.

Select the file, then click "Open" to attach the file to
the email message.

Send the email message. The files will automatically go out
with the email.
Internet Explorer users utilizing Outlook
or Outlook Express:

Create a normal email message, then use the paper clip on
the toolbar to "Insert a File".

Find the file.

Check to make sure that the "Attachment" button in the "Insert
As..." box on the right hand side of the Outlook window is checked

Select the file, then click "OK" to attach the file to the
email message.

Send the message as you normally would.
Others (AOL, etc.) will have a similar method. If you have
a problem, let me know via separate email.
