The Public Safety Department provides for the safety and security of people and property of Western Nevada College. It is our commitment to provide professional services for students, employees, and community. The Public Safety Department provides:

• Security of all persons and property on college property
• Reporting of all criminal and suspicious behavior on college property to law enforcement
• traffic control and enforcement
• visitor assistance
• lost and found services
• loss prevention and reporting
• identification of safety hazards
