The 16 Personality Types
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI) reports preferences on four
scales. They preference scales indicate differences in people as follows:

There is no right or wrong to these preferences - each identifies normal
human behavior. People tend to develop behaviors, skills and attitudes
associated with their type. Each type has its own potential strengths
and weakness.
There are 16 combinations of preferences identified by the MBTI. The
results of the MBTI are a "best guess;" your true type must
be verified and identified by yourself. After receiving your MBTI results,

will be a perfect match to who you are.
Brief descriptions of the 16 types follows.
1. ENFJ
ENFJs tend to be friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic. Relationships are
important to them, along with the ability to communicate and connect with
others. They are empathetic yet easily hurt. ENFJs lead with good communication
skills and warmth to gain cooperation toward meeting the ideals they hold
for an individual or organization. They naturally find potential in others
and are attuned to others needs and emotions. Other words to describe
an ENFJ include decisive, opinionated, productive, organized and responsible.
2. ENFP
ENFPs tend to be talkative, outgoing, curious and playful. They can inspire
and energize any group of people. Their enthusiasm for new ways of doing
things is often contagious. They never tire of coming up with original
possibilities, which are usually insightful or even ingenious. ENFPs make
connections between events and information quickly, and proceed based
on the patterns they see. They need affirmation from others and willingly
give appreciation and support. Other words to describe an ENFP include
sensitive, innovative, creative, optimistic, adaptable and resourceful.
3. ENTJ
ENTJs tend to be friendly, strong willed, outspoken, and logical. They
are driven to demonstrate competence and look at things with a global
perspective. They have a tendency to be demanding of themselves and others.
Usually both frank and knowledgeable, they engage in projects to make
their lives and others' more productive. ENTJ types are natural leaders.
They organize what they can to accomplish long-range goals. They notice
inefficient procedures and develop new systems to solve problems. Other
words to describe an ENTJ include decisive, organized, and efficient.
4. ENTP
ENTPs tend to be friendly, outgoing, humorous, energetic, flexible and
unpredictable. They like change and will seldom do something the same
way if they have a choice. They bring enthusiasm and imagination to new
projects but often neglect routine assignments. They are sure of the worth
of their inspirations and any difficulty along the way is viewed as a
stimulating challenge. ENTPs are able to generate conceptual possibilites
and analyze them strategically. They enjoy debating for its own sake,
and they are good at reading other people. Other words to describe an
ENTP include logical, analytical, creative and imaginative.
5. ESFJ
ESFJs tend to be active, friendly, outgoing, talkative and energetic.
They like to put other people at ease and are genuinely convinced that
rough times can be overcome if people work together. Natural hosts and
hostesses, they pay attention to even the smallest details to make people
feel welcome. They are very sensitive and easily hurt. ESFJs put a lot
of conscientious energy into making things happen, completing tasks accurately
and on time. They follow through in even small matters. Other words to
describe an ESFJ include organized, responsible, conventional, realistic,
and literal.
6. ESFP
ESFPs tend to be warm, gregarious, playful, talkative and impulsive. Fun-loving,
they live life to its fullest and are great company. Good natured and
openly friendly, they are very curious about what they can see, hear,
and know firsthand. They then find ways to adapt to what they've noticed
and are good at getting others to adapt. ESFPs have common sense and a
realistic approach. Flexible and spontaneous, they easily adapt to new
environments and people. Other words to describe an ESFP include active,
curious, sensitive, caring, and unpredictable.
7. ESTJ
ESTJs tend to be energetic, outspoken, friendly, and productive. They
make sure that things get done, having firm standards that assist them
in running things. They are often campus leaders and prefer traditional
leadership styles. They can achieve a tremendous amount when given room
to be in charge and when others cooperate. Their talents lie in bringing
order, structure, and completion. Efficient organizers, ESTJs are adept
at getting things done efficiently while taking care of routine details.
They are opinionated, honest, and direct to the point, sometimes being
too blunt. Other words to describe an ESTJ include practical, realistic,
matter-of-fact, traditional, and accountable.
8. ESTP
ESTPs tend to be active, adventurous, talkative, curious and impulsive.
They like to have fun and experience life in the here and now, especially
enjoying being active with others. They are good-natured problem solvers.
ESTPs dislike long explanations and would rather get a few key details
about a situation, make a brief recommendation, and then move on to the
next problem. Theories and conceptual explanations bore them; they would
rather act energetically to solve the problem. Their friendliness leads
others to like and listen to them. They enjoy material comforts and style.

logical, and fun.
9. INFJ
INFJs tend to be independent, thoughtful, warm, reserved, and polite.
They are often quietly creative. Usually well prepared when approaching
any situation, they seek to bring an original flair to their work; either
artistic, poetic, or imaginative in some way. They have a deep faith in
their inner vision of human potential and strive to understand others.
INFJs develop a clear vision as to what is best for an organization or
group, and are organized and decisive in implementing their vision. They
seek meaning and connection in ideas and relationships. Other words to
describe an INFJ include productive, original, and deliberate.
10. INFP
INFPs tend to be reserved, kind, quiet, sensitive, and dedicated to those
close to them. They are more deeply invested in what they do than people
realize, being passionate about things important to them. They notice
the subtle nuances behind people's words and behavior, and they seek to
have personal impact in whatever they do. They too easily take on more
than seems possible to accomplish but somehow get it done. INFPs are curious,
quick to see possibilities, and adept at implementing ideas. Other words
to describe an INFP include creative, original, imaginative, and flexible.
11. INTJ
INTJs tend to be autonomous, intellectually curious, aloof, imaginative
and innovative. They have independent, original ideas and great drive
to achieve their goals. They have a natural talent for outlining contingencies,
devising strategy and complex plans to reach goals dictated by a vision
of what is needed in the long run. They use analysis and skepticism, valuing
competence in themselves and others, and work hard to achieve. INTJs thrive
on putting theories to work. They tend to be socially cautious and reserved.

and definitive.
12. INTP
INTPs tend to be private, quiet, independent, skeptical and curious. They
are mainly interested in new ideas and have little concern for parties
or small talk. They can, however, become quite talkative about a topic
they have knowledge and interest in. They seek to develop logical explanations
for everything that interests them. They have an unusual ability to focus
in depth to solve problems. INTPs are interested in theorizing, analyzing,
and learning, thriving on exploring, understanding, and explaining how
the world works. Other words to describe an INTP include nonconforming,
adaptive, and unpredictable.
13. ISFJ
ISFJs tend to be cautious, gentle, friendly and thoughtful. Extremely
dependable, ISFJ types accept responsibilities beyond the call of duty.
They genuinely care for people and work tirelessly in their behalf, yet
they can be uncompromising regarding things they believe in. When in charge
of something, their practical judgment and appreciation of what works
make them conservative and consistent. ISFJs are thorough, painstaking
and accurate, noticing specifics about people they care about. They like
to live in a stable, predictable environment. Other words to describe
an ISFJ include literal, diligent, conscientious, organized and decisive.
14. ISFP
ISFPs tend to be kind, humble, empathetic, thoughtful, and faithful. Friendly
and quiet, they usually do not care to lead but are loyal followers. They
enjoy the present moment and have a quiet sense of humor. They are modest
about their abilities, seek to please others, and avoid disagreements
whenever possible. They are loyal and committed to their values and to
people who are important to them. ISFPs like to have their own space and
to work within their own time frame, wanting the freedom to vary what
they do until they have achieved the right affect. Their talents lie in
combining, varying, and improvising. Other words to describe an ISFP include

15. ISTJ
ISTJs tend to be conservative, quiet, realistic, practical, and careful.
They like to be accurate and they usually are. Others can win bets on
an ISTJs promise to provide practical information. The data will be clear,
on time (if not early), and exactly in the form promised. They are among
the most reliable and dependable members of any group. They decide logically
what should be done and work toward it steadily regardless of distractions.
ISTJs like to make sure everything in their life is orderly and
organized, and take pleasure from being of service to others. They are
usually resistant to change and comfortable with routine. Other words
to describe an ISTJ include precise, honest, and matter of fact.
16. ISTP
ISTPs tend to be logical, pragmatic, quiet, autonomous, and aloof. They
are cool onlookers, analyzing life with detached curiosity. They exert
themselves only when necessary, wanting not to waste energy. They tend
to be observers until a problem appears, then act quickly to find workable
solutions. They thrive on challenging situations as long as they have
the freedom to come up with clever solutions and do whatever it takes
to fix things and make them work. ISTPs analyze what makes things work
and will sort through large amounts of information to isolate the core
