Personal mail delivered by post has almost become an entirely nostalgic mode of communication. The convenience of the digital age has largely overrun everyday communication between people across the globe. People have become so accessible by the digital age, that it is easy to become passive in receiving digital mementoes. While digital mail may be fast, its very accessibility has made it so impersonal. Taking the time and effort to actually write a letter and actually physically send it through the post, ensures that added personal touch to notes sent to friends, family, and loved ones that digital mail just can't compete with. A tangible token of your communication almost always has a bigger and longer lasting impact its receiver. If you have ever been personally impacted in a profound way by a piece of mail that you have received, enter the - Special Delivery Scholarship and you might receive an award of $1000.

                      Topic 01

Insurers base premiums in part on the risk they assume covering a particular customer, home, and/or vehicle. The lower a risk posed by the policyholder and his home/vehicle, the lower the premium you'll be assigned. Tell us some steps you take to minimize risk in your day-to-day activities and describe your strategy for avoiding risk in the future.

                      Topic 02

Advances in technology have changed insurance in many ways. One of the latest is the introduction of pay-as-you-drive insurance, which monitors driving habits and offers discounts for them. Critics cite privacy concerns, but so far few consumers seem worried. Where would you draw the line on providing information to insurers without compromising privacy?

We are very excited for the opportunity to contribute to someone’s future, and cannot wait to hear what you have to say.

Our scholarship is a simple one. We’re asking you, in 500 words, to apply the insight from your unique perspective to one of the many complex issues that concern modern medicine, particularly skincare. Please choose one of the topics below:

                        1. Botox, and procedures like it have often been reactions to wrinkles and the such. What is your opinion on “pre-wrinkle” treatments and other preventative surgeries used by younger people to prevent the outward appearance of age?
                        2. There has been controversy in the industry about when aesthetic surgeries are acceptable for adolescents. Should teenagers have the right to pursue these treatments?
                        3. Procedures and treatments are constantly evolving every day in the skin care industry. What kind of procedures/treatments do you think we will be performing 25, 50 and 100 years from now?

The topics should be pretty straight forward - we aren’t looking to stump you. Instead, we want your opinions, creative insights and generally something we could devour with our morning coffee. Make us think. Make us smile. Most importantly, be yourself, and set yourself apart from the other entries.

This scholarship is for the 2014-2015 school year, and is open to anyone from college-bound high school graduates to those seeking their masters. We see patients from all over the world, and our scholarship is open to both American and Canadian students.

The entry deadline is December 15th 2014. The winner will be announced before, or on December 30th 2014. And finally, the award will be in the mail by January 15th 2015.

What’s next? First, scroll through the scholarship terms and conditions. Then, once you’ve prepared your mind-blowing essay, make your way over to our scholarship entry form.

Safety Essay Scholarship Win $1000 for School

Safety and privacy are very important to us. In many ways they are one in the same. We live in a world where any information we desire is available at our fingertips. But how much is too much? At MyLife, we strive to help you feel secure knowing that your information has been protected. However, the process begins with you.

                        On the Internet:

Many are concerned about how their private information is being used online. What do you think needs to change in order to make users feel safer, particularly on social media?

                        In your Community:

Identity theft can occur on paper just as easily as it can behind a computer. Given unlimited resources, how would you make your neighborhood safer? How would you try to solve and eradicate theft?

A wise man once said, "Be the change you want to see in the world." So what are you doing as an individual to keep yourself safe, how are you protecting you information, and how would you educate and encourage others to follow in your footsteps?

                              About the scholarship

The Women's Independence Scholarship Program (WISP) was created in 1999 to help formerly battered women overcome barriers to the education necessary for their becoming employable and financially stable. The primary intent is to help single mothers with young children who have the greatest financial challenges (childcare costs, etc.) to gain work skills so they can support their families. Our funds target women who are in desperate financial situations and absolutely must have both an education and our funds to assist them.
