At, we’re excited to unveil our newest resource, a scholarship award intended to help students currently working their way through college. Students enrolled in higher education today face more expenses than ever, and we’re glad to provide a little extra support. College students working hard to pay their way through school deserve recognition, and a $1,000 check doesn’t hurt either.

Requirements:. 500 to 800 word essay: Discuss the complexities of paying your way through college, explain how you are able to manage it, and describe what the process has taught you about personal and financial responsibility.

Eligibility: The Working Your Way Through College Scholarship Award Program is open to any person who:

  1. Is a full or part-time student who is in an accredited U.S. post-secondary educational institution (including, but not limited to, college, university or trade school, or similarly accredited program) with a current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher at that institution; and
  2. Has worked an average of at least twelve (12) hours for each of the previous four (4) weeks at the time of applying; and
  3. Is a legal resident of the United States of America; and
  4. Is currently enrolled and furthering his or her education at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution or program; and
  5. Is eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of applying; and
  6. Completes and submits the official Application form within the relevant periods for the periodic scholarships to be awarded.


Official Rules for Working Your Way Through College $1000 Scholarship Award Program

  • ELIGIBILITY: The Working Your Way Through College Scholarship Program is open to any person who:
  • Is a full or part-time student who is in an accredited U.S. post-secondary educational institution (including, but not limited to, college, university or trade school, or similarly accredited program) with a current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher at that institution; and
  • Has worked an average of at least twelve (12) hours for each of the previous four (4) weeks at the time of applying; and
  • Is a legal resident of the United States of America; and
  • Is currently enrolled and furthering his or her education at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution or program; and

Employees of (“Sponsor”), its divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, their law firms, accountants, program administrators, promotional or marketing agencies, and their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling and spouse) and persons living in the same households of each such employee (whether related or not) are not eligible.

HOW TO APPLY: For each Application Period, will offer a specified number of scholarships. Upon completing and submitting the official Application form during the applicable Application Period, you will be automatically entered in the Scholarship. To apply go to: and fully complete the “Application Form.” When you apply, you will be automatically entered in the Scholarship for the applicable Application Period.

An Application and/or entry will be declared withdrawn and void only by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address used to apply.

Potential winners may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that he or she meets the eligibility requirements for this Scholarship and is the Authorized Account Holder of the email address associated with a winning application.

Any attempt to obtain multiple applications by using different or multiple email addresses, identities, log-ins, automatic entry software or any other method is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute, the Authorized Account Holder of the email address used to apply will be determined to be the applicant.

RN to BSN Online Scholarship Program

RN to BSN Online Program is pleased to announce its 2015 scholarship program which will reward one fortunate college student with a $500 nursing scholarship.


  • We will award a $500 scholarship to the applicant chosen.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Applicant must be currently attending a college or university, or will be attending in the fall of 2015.

    • This scholarship is judged primarily on need basis, but does not exclude achievement standards.

    • Applications for scholarship can be submitted by any high school senior or high school graduate from the state of Nevada.

    2015 Michigan Auto Law Car Accident Injury Survivor Scholarship

    Auto accident law firm is offering two $500 scholarships for college students who have overcome car accident injuries and are rebuilding their lives.

    Eligibility and selection criteria
    Applicants must:

    • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident,
    • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university within the United States,
    • Have sustained injuries from a car or truck accident,
    • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

                  Insurance Providers Scholarship

                  Look Twice, Save A Life Scholarship

         is proud to introduce a new scholarship promoting motorcycle safety among students.

                  The Look Twice, Save A Life Scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to any student who is currently attending or planning to attend college or some form of higher education. The scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis for the Spring semester. The deadline to apply is December, 1st.

                  What’s "clean living" for you? One part of growing up and being in college is learning to take care of your space. Whether that’s figuring out that dishwashing liquid shouldn’t go in a dishwasher, or how to spackle nail holes to keep your deposit, there are a million little lessons that we learn about managing our space. Tell us a story about how you take care of yourself and your living space.

                  Short Video Submission Rules:

                  • Create a quick video (3 min max) telling us what clean living means for you. Tell us a story about how you take care of your living space. Remember: high production quality is not the goal: we’re looking for honest stories.
                  • Upload your video to Tumblr as a submission to this blog or upload the video into your Google Plus account and hashtag it #coitscholarship. Not sure how to submit it? Check our FAQ

                  Eligibility and Requirements :

                  1. You must be enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university in the USA or Canada. International students are welcome!
                  2. Submission must be in by 11:59pm PST October 31st, 2014. One submission per person.
                  3. Email must include: Full Name, Google + or Tumblr user name, address, phone, school name, date of birth, & parent/guardian name (if under 18).

                  CARiD Scholarship Program

                  $1,000 towards college!

                  CARiD is giving away $1,000 to offset your educational expenses for college! Just getting the essentials can add up quickly and CARiD wants to help - books, food, backpacks, some sweet spinners for your commuter vehicle, or whatever else you need to get ready for school! Most importantly - CARiD believes in higher education and wants to help you achieve your goals!

                  How do I apply?

                  Create a photo inspired by any aspect of the automotive industry and email it to Here are some ideas to get you started: Your first car, custom modifications you've made, something that makes your vehicle unique, or the coolest vehicle you've ever seen - we're looking forward to your creativity!

                  • Photos can be cropped, spliced, or edited however you see fit
                  • Photos must be relevant to the automotive industry

                  Who can apply?

                  Any current US student who:

                  • Is enrolled in post-secondary education in the upcoming semester
                  • Is between the ages of 16 and 20
                  • Is not a CARiD employee
                  • Is not related to an employee of CARiD or its partners

                  When can I apply?

                  Two scholarships will be awarded each year:

                  • Spring entries must be received before midnight on April 30
                  • Fall entries must be received before midnight on October 31

                  Who will win?

                  We're looking for the most creative, inspiring, and thought provoking photos! So get to work and show us what you've got! The winning photo will be published here, on, and our other social media pages.

                  • We'll pick our favorite photo, and send a check for $1,000 to the winner!
                  • Winners will be announced on May 15 (spring program) and November 15 (fall program)

                  Other Scholarship Opportunities

                  There are hundreds of thousands of scholarship opportunities that an ambitious student can discover. While your local library will contain many scholarship directories in the reference section, the best way to match your particular characteristics to scholarship opportunities is to search through the Internet. Students may use computers in WNC's library for this purpose. Several free online scholarship searches are available. WNC recommends:

                  HubShout Online Marketing Scholarship

                  The HubShout Online Marketing Scholarship is designed to help students who are on the path to any type of business or marketing career that will involve online marketing. Students who have completed at least one year of post-secondary education, have at least a 3.0 GPA and are working toward a career in business or marketing are encouraged to apply.

         Textbooks for a Year Scholarship

                  The Textbooks for a Year scholarship is a 750-1,250 word essay contest. One grand prize of $1,250 and one runner-up prize of $250, to the winning students will be awarded in the Fall and again in the Spring.

                  Tribal Scholarships

                  For those who are Native American, your tribe or nation may offer college scholarships. To learn more, contact your tribe or call the regional office of the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Sacramento at (916) 978-6058 or visit the BIA website.

                  Many tribes and the BIA require a "needs analysis" from your college's financial aid office to document eligibility, so be sure to file your FAFSA early.

                  Women's Independence Scholarship Program (WISP)

                  About the scholarship

                  The Women's Independence Scholarship Program (WISP) was created in 1999 to help formerly battered women overcome barriers to the education necessary for their becoming employable and financially stable. The primary intent is to help single mothers with young children who have the greatest financial challenges (childcare costs, etc.) to gain work skills so they can support their families. Our funds target women who are in desperate financial situations and absolutely must have both an education and our funds to assist them.

                  WISP Program Eligibility Criteria

                  A woman who meets the following requirements is eligible to apply:

                  • Survived intimate partner abuse & has been separated from their abuser a minimum of one year;
                  • Is a citizen or legal resident of the United States;
                  • Has applied to or is officially accepted into an accredited course of study at a United States institution;
                  • Demonstrates a critical need for financial assistance;
                  • Exhibits a strong desire and the ability to complete a training and/or academic program;
                  • Has a definite plan to use the desired training to upgrade skills for career advancement, to train for a new career field, or to enter or reenter the job market; and
                  • Has sought services from a non-profit, domestic violence agency for a minimum of 6 consecutive months, and this agency is willing act as sponsor by mentoring and providing support to the student throughout her educational experience
