The college provides a voluntary option for student health services:

MedDirect Urgent Care Student Health Services

A partnership program between WNC and MedDirect Urgent Care centers offers students at the college basic health care at a reduced rate. Students who are currently enrolled in three or more credits may obtain basic health care services for a single flat fee of $79 per semester, and a $10 co-pay per visit. The fee is non-refundable.

The new service allows for office visits for treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, including coughs, colds and flu; cuts, breaks and sprains; basic immunizations, and more. Additional services, such as x-rays and physical exams, are available at a discounted cost.

MedDirect has offices in Carson City at 1201 S. Carson St., in Dayton at 2450 Highway 50 East, and in Indian Hills at 961-A Mica Drive. Services are available seven days a week at the Carson City office.

Students may sign up and pay at one of the three MedDirect offices, with proof of WNC enrollment for the spring term. Log into Web-REG and print your class schedule for proof of enrollment.
