Costs and Payments

The Lyon County School District will pay 50% of tuition and fees ($547.50), parents are responsible for 50% ($547.50). The district will pay 100% of the tuition and fees for those qualified for free and reduced. Those not qualified but in need of assistance may also apply for a grant from WNC to cover $274.00 of their portion of the tuition and fees. Payments of the balance are due to Yerington High School by August 8 to ensure enrollment.

Fall 2014 Textbook Requirements:

**NOTE: Parents are responsible for textbooks. Students will receive a grant from Yerington High School after final fall grades are posted to cover 50% of the cost of the textbook for each class in which they receive a grade of “C” or better. In addition, a grant from WNC is available to cover $200.00 of the cost of the textbooks for those with financial need.

Option 1: Purchase MyMathLab access through www.pearsonmylabandmastering.com. This will cost approximately $100 through the Pearson website and will include access to the e-book. You will need to wait until your instructor has provided the course ID. It will be sent via email before classes begin.

Option 2: Purchase MyMathLab access as described in Option 1. Also order a used copy of the Precalculus text from Amazon or other vendor - use this option if you'd prefer to have a hard copy in addition to the ebook.

Option 3: Purchase the package above (using ISBN 9780321832139) which includes MyMathLab access and a new hard copy of the text.
