Update Contact Information

Steps for changing your contact information through myWNC


Follow steps 1-4 to login to your account

Step 1.

Go to the myWNC homepage located at my.wnc.edu

Step 2.

Locate the 'Sign In' box near the upper left hand side of the page. Enter your NSHE student ID number into the white box next to 'User ID' (indicated by the yellow arrow). (If you do not know your NSHE student ID number, click on the 'Forgot your USER ID?' link indicated by the red circle located under the 'Sign In' button.)

Step 3.

Enter your password into the white box next to 'Password' (indicated by the yellow arrow) (If you do not know or have forgotten your password, click on the 'Forgot your password' link indicated by the red circle located under the 'Sign In' button. An email containing your password will be sent to the email address on file.)

Step 4.

Click on the blue link that says 'myWNC Student Information Center' (indicated by the yellow circle) located in the middle of the page under the bold printed words 'Begin Here.'

Steps for changing contact phone number online


Step 1.

Scroll down the page until you see the tab titled 'Personal Information' on the left side (indicated by the yellow circle). Open the drop down box (indicated by the red arrow) and select 'Phone Numbers.' Click the circular button with the double arrows next to the drop down box (indicated by the green arrow) to proceed to the next page.

Step 2.

From this page, you can add or edit the phone number(s) the college has on file. To change the type of phone line i.e., mobile phone, work phone, home phone, etc., open the drop down box (indicated by the yellow circle) and select the appropriate type. To add a new phone number, click the box that says 'Add A Phone Number' (indicated by the red arrow). Enter the number and select the appropriate type. Click the green box that says 'Save.'

Steps for changing email and mailing address online


Step 1.

Scroll down the page until you see the tab titled 'Personal Information' (shown by the yellow circle). Open the drop down box (shown by the red arrow and red box) and select the 'Email Addresses' option and then click the circular button (shown by the green arrow and green diamond) to proceed to the next page.

Step 2.

Type in the email address that you would like Western Nevada College to use in order to contact you about information regarding your account into the 'Email Address' field (shown by the red box and black line). Then click on the green tab that says 'Save' (shown by the green circle).

Step 3.

If you would like to update the physical or mailing address on file, click on the blue shaded tab labeled 'addresses' on the upper left hand part of the screen. Click on the green button that says 'edit' (shown by the red circle) next to the address type you would like to change. (shown by the green box). To add another address, click Add A New Address button.

Step 4.

Fill out all of the appropriate fields to update your address address. Click the yellow button that says, "Ok" (shown by the red circle) to save.
