The final countdown is underway as students anxiously anticipate the start of fall semester on Monday, Aug. 29 at Western Nevada College.

Some students took the opportunity to visit campus during a well-attended First Year Experience Orientation event on Aug. 25. Students learned about library resources, met with faculty members, learned the location of their classes and enjoyed some food, refreshments and games, including an epic water balloon battle.

For students who are still planning to enroll in classes this fall, Student Services is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31. Scroll through the list of classes at wnc.edu/class-schedule/ to get the classes you want.

Students can look forward to Welcome Back Week presented by
