Healthcare & Nursing Pathways
Careers in nursing and healthcare are always in high demand. WNC has certifications in CNA and Phlebotomy, as well as a degree pathway for pre-nursing students and individuals with an interest in community health science, public health and related fields.
WNC’s Nursing program is among the best in the state, and every year our students pass the N-CLEX exam at high rates and go to work in our local hospitals or medical facilities.
Preparing nurses to support Nevada’s growing population is important to us. We offer our nursing program in both Carson City and Fallon to meet the needs of our community.
The first step to preparing for the nursing program is to complete prerequisite requirements. Many pre-nursing students will enroll in WNC’s health science degree while they complete these requirements. This enables them to receive financial aid throughout their studies at WNC.
