Celebrate the life of Nevada System of Higher Education Regent Sam Lieberman during a memorial service that will be streamed live at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7.
Attend the virtual service at www.facebook.com/ksfuneralservices/live/
Nevada was saddened by the passing of Lieberman on Friday at the age of 58.
Gov. Steve Sisolak has ordered the flags of the United States and the state of Nevada be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol and all state public buildings and grounds until sunset on Monday, April 6, as a mark of respect and remembrance of Regent Lieberman.
Since 2015, Lieberman has been a regent for District 5, which includes parts of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and unincorporated Clark County.
He will be remembered by many of his peers for his advocacy for students and their concerns, as well as strong belief that that college campuses should be an accessible community resource for Nevadans of all backgrounds.
