Mission & Goals

The mission of the Business Office is to enhance institutional effectiveness by providing accurate and timely financial data and to assist college departments in the management of the college’s resources. We are committed to providing financial integrity and accountability to all whom we serve.

Objective 1: Follow generally accepted accounting principles, State and Federal accounting standards, and policies set by NSHE Board of Regents

Objective 2: Prepare annual financial statements for external audit, reports for WNC administration, Board of Regents, Chancellors office, grantors, and State government.

Objective 3: Complete all college financial transactions including purchasing, paying invoices and providing college departments with accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions.

Objective 4: Accept payments from students and third party payers and apply payments to appropriate revenue accounts.
