Fully Online/Remote Instructional Modes (Vaccine not required):
| Instructional Mode | Description |

| “Web Class” | Virtual instruction, with all assignments and discussions delivered via the internet, without scheduled times for student participation. Students are not required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to enroll. |
| “Virtual With Scheduled Times” | Virtual instruction, with live instructor interaction through Zoom or similar modality during regularly scheduled times. Students are not required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to enroll. |
| “Virtual Independent Study” | Independent study class offered via virtual instruction only. Specific scheduled virtual meeting times may be required. Subject to departmental approval. Students are not required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to enroll. |
In-Person Instructional Modes (characterized by in-person instructor/student interaction & Vaccine Required):

| “In- Person with some web” | Classes meet in person at scheduled times. Access to the internet for assignments and/or other related class instruction is required. Students are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to enroll. |
| “Web-based with some mtg” | Virtual instruction with most class materials delivered via the internet, Includes some in-person instruction or in-person component, possibly at scheduled times. Students are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to enroll. |
| “Online Lecture with In-Person Lab” | Virtual instruction for lecture portion of class, win in-person instruction for laboratory during scheduled times. Students are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to enroll. |
| “Independent Study” | Independent study class with in person interaction with instructor. Access to the internet for assignments or other related class instruction may be required. Students are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to enroll. |
| “Interactive Sending Online Enhanced” | Classes meet on campus at scheduled times. This host section is connected to other WNC locations using interactive video technology. Access to the internet for assignments and/or other related class instruction is required. Students are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to enroll. |
| “Interactive Receiving Online Enhanced” | Classes meet on campus at scheduled times. Students receive instruction using interactive video technology from a host class on different WNC locations. Access to the internet for assignments and/or other related class instruction is required. Students are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to enroll. |
