FAQs

Can I pay with cash, through JobConnect/JOIN/Voc Rehab/etc., or with a check?

Yes. To do this, please contact us at (775) 445-4210.

Can I transfer to a new session of the same course?

Yes, for Fundamental Courses. You may transfer a maximum of 2 times, as long as your enrollment occurred in the last 6 months and you have not yet completed your course. Please note that any work you complete will not transfer to a new session. For Advanced Career Training Programs, transfers are available on a case-by-case basis. A $125 administration fee may apply.

Can I transfer to a different course?

Yes, for Fundamental Courses. You may transfer as long as your enrollment occurred in the last 6 months and you have not yet completed your course. For Advanced Career Training Programs, please contact us with a detailed explanation of the issue. Please keep in mind that if a transfer is granted, you may be responsible for the material, instructor and vendor fees associated with that program.

Can I get an extension on completing my course?

For Fundamentals courses, a 10-day extension is built into each session. The course end date is listed in your Classroom, but you will continue to have access for an additional 10 days after this date. If 10 days is not enough time, you can request a transfer to a new session. For most Advanced Career Training Programs, extensions are available, but cost and duration vary by program. You can request an extension directly from your Student Advisor. Please note that if you are funded through grant or government funds, you must have your agency counselor’s approval to obtain an extension.

Can I drop my Fundamentals course?

Yes. If your start date was within the last 6 months and you haven’t completed your course, you can drop the course and receive a full refund.

How will I receive my refund?

If you paid online, your credit card will be refunded in 3-7 business days. If the credit card payment took place more than 60 days before you request a drop, a refund check will be mailed to you. If you paid via cash or check, you will need to contact us at (775) 445-4241.
