Joe Dini Library will be open to 10 p.m. on a number of days the first two weeks in December to help students prepare for their finals.
The library’s 10 p.m. closing time will allow students extra time for exam preparations, working with academic coaches, study time, working on assignments and to put the finishing touches to papers and projects.
Students will also benefit from the companionship of some furry, four-legged friends.
To help students deal with the stress of their finals and end-of-semester academic requirements, the Psychology Club will bring a group of certified therapy dogs to the library on Thursday, Dec. 5 to calm their nerves. Stop by the library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to pet the dogs and to spend a few minutes relaxing and recharging before finals week.
GEAR UP Ambassador Tawnie Wentz has also scheduled therapy dog(s) to visit the library from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12.
The library will be open until 10 p.m. on the following dates: Wednesday, Dec. 4; Thursday, Dec. 5; Monday, Dec. 9; Tuesday, Dec. 10; Wednesday, Dec. 11; and Thursday, Dec. 12.
