NOTE: WNC students are on spring break with no classes, March 16-20.
Remote Instruction: WNC will move to remote/online instruction effective March 23, and will continue in this manner for the remainder of the spring semester. Our faculty and staff are working diligently to finalize plans to migrate classes to remote instruction, primarily Canvas.
Courses requiring lab work: Instructors with lab-based classes will be working to make arrangements with their students. This may include on campus lab work with fewer students in order to ensure social distancing is maintained.
Carson Campus Operations: To the extent possible all campus functions will be centralized to the Bristlecone building on the Carson City campus. Consolidating our operations in one place will allow us to continue to provide more efficient services to students, and allows our cleaning crews to double down on the efforts to disinfect and keep the area as clean as possible. Employees will maintain social distancing protocol at all times.
Child Development Center Operations: Effective end of day on Wednesday, March 18, the Child Development Center will be closed until further notice. During the closure, families will not be charged their tuition. For families who would prefer a refund over a credit for future use, please contact Anna Lisa Acosta via email at annalisa.acosta@wnc.edu.
