Learn more about Western Nevada College’s new paramedicine program in the April episode of The Western Connection on KNVC (95.1 FM).
Building on the Emergency Medical Services classes of Emergency Medical Technician and Advanced EMT that the college continues to offer, WNC expanded the program so these students could further their training to become paramedics. Program coordinator Terry Mendez talks about these changes and more, and will be joined on the show by Nevada System of Higher Education Regent Carol Del Carlo.
