WNC Professor to Talk on Fighter Aircraft from WWII to Vietnam on April 20

Continuing the exploration of fighter design and doctrine in the U.S. Navy, part two of the "U.S. Navy Fighters" lecture on Saturday, April 20, at Jack C. Davis Observatory explores the many unique designs and uses of fighters from WWII to Vietnam.

With engaging images and discussion, Western Nevada College History Professor Joseph Bell focuses on rationale, design choices, capabilities and performance of some of the most famous and obscure aircraft from 1941-75.

Doors open at 7 p.m. to the weekly Star Party, with Professor Bell's lecture starting at 7:30 p.m.
